Iowa Secretary Of State Named Vice President Of National Association

Iowa Secretary of State, Paul Pate, was elected to serve as the Midwestern Region Vice-President of the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) during their annual meeting this past weekend. As one of the 11 members of the association’s executive board, Pate will serve a one-year term ending in July of 2017. “My role as vice president will provide me with key opportunities to advance important services to voters and businesses,” Pate said. “I also believe some of the initiatives and best practices we utilize in Iowa can be models for the rest of the country,” he added. In addition to this position, Pate was reappointed as co-chair of the NASS Business Services Committee during the meeting.
