Fall is here and the Outdoor Expo is a great time for families to experience what Iowa’s outdoors has to offer during this time of year. The Expo takes place on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 24 and 25, at Waterworks Park in Des Moines and coincides with National Hunting and Fishing Day on Sept. 24. On Saturday, the event will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is free for all attendees. This family-friendly event has instructors on hand to teach, guide and give tips for fishing, bow fishing, canoeing, kayaking, outdoor cooking, trap shooting, archery and much more.
