Iowa DOT Selected 10,000 Anglers To Participate In Trout Survey

Nearly 45,000 resident and non-resident anglers have purchased trout permits, and 10,000 of these have been randomly selected to participate in the 2016 Trout Angler Survey. The Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DOT), is asking these fishermen to report their trout fishing preferences and experiences, including where they fish and how often. Their responses will be used to help guide decisions in providing opportunities for trout fishing in Iowa. Anglers are encouraged to use the online version of the survey, which is available prior to Nov 4. Those without internet access will receive a paper copy in mid-November.
