A Harlan man, 20 year-old Andrew James Nippert, has been charged with multiple violations resulting from a traffic stop on Saturday, Oct. 1. At approximately 1 a.m., the Audubon County Sheriff’s Office performed a traffic stop as Nippert was driving on Bluebird Avenue near 130th Street. After being stopped, Nippert was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated-first offense, a serious misdemeanor, and possession of marijuana, also a serious misdemeanor and multiple traffic violations. Nippert was transported to the Audubon County Jail and held. He was later released and will appear before the magistrate on Thursday, Oct. 6.
