At approximately 10:03 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 10, the Greene County Sheriff’s Office reported to the scene of a single-vehicle accident on Highway 25 near Scranton. Eighteen-year-old Anita Renee Alvarez of Guthrie Center was northbound on Highway 25 in a 1997 Saturn, when she lost control of her vehicle and entered the west ditch, rolling the vehicle. No injuries were reported, but the Saturn was reported to be a total loss. Alvarez was cited for failure to maintain control.
