Fourth Congressional District Congressman, Steve King’s annual Col. Bud Day Pheasant Hunt will be held this weekend at the Hole N’ the Wall Lodge near Akron. Hunting will take place Saturday and Sunday and Senator Charles Grassley will be King’s special guest at Sunday morning’s 7:30 a.m. breakfast. “We all admire the Senator’s work ethic, conservative credentials and determined leadership, particularly on the judicial issues our country is facing,” King said. “We are both on the ballot next month, and I appreciate the opportunity for him to spend time with fellow hunters.” The Col. Bud Day Hunt, which is named after a Sioux City native who was the nation’s most decorated war hero at the time of his death in 2013, has regularly attracted national leaders for hunting and interaction with supporters.
