With President-elect Donald Trump’s selection of Alabama Republican Senator Jeff Sessions as U.S. Attorney General, United States Senator and Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Chuck Grassley, voiced his support. He says Senator Sessions is a respected member who has worked hard across the aisle on major legislation. He added that Sessions, “[…] Knows the Justice Department as a former U.S. Attorney, which would serve him very well in the position. With his background, I’m confident he would be reported favorably out of the committee,” Grassley added.
