Free C3 Concert At Hausbarn Heritage Park In Manning Sunday

For the fifth consecutive year, Manning’s C3 will be hosting a free outdoor concert this Sunday, June 5, at the Hausbarn Heritage Park in Manning. Gates will open at 4 p.m., free food will be served until 5:30 p.m. and at 5:45 p.m. the first of two Christian musical acts will take the stage. Jennie Williamson, who has sold over 850,000 CDs and travels the country performing at Christian churches and schools will perform first. She will be followed by Steve Reischl in his second appearance. Reischl has traveled with the world-renowned Acapella group and has received Dove and Grammy award nominations for his work as front man and guitarist for New Song. Both Williamson, whose husband Brian is a Fort Dodge native, and Reischl, who grew up in Dunlap, are excited to return to this area of the state and share God’s message and grace through song. The Christ, Community and Celebration (C3) concert is free, but free-will donations will be accepted. While supplies last, children attending the concert will receive a free t-shirt. Everyone is encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy this outdoor concert, but in the event of inclement weather, the show will be moved to the Zion Lutheran Church at 1204 Center Street in Manning.
