Registration is now open for a scholarship that offers 30 Iowa high school seniors a chance to receive $2,000 for college from Iowa Student Loan. All that is required is for students to complete two financial literacy tutorials and take an assessment related to their understanding of the related materials. The Student Loan Game Plan and the Return on College Investment (ROCI) Reality Check educate students looking to attend college by helping them understand the consequences of college borrowing and how to make the most of a college education. The top scoring students in the follow-up assessment will receive a scholarship that will be sent directly to their colleges in Fall 2017. The winners’ high schools will receive a $500 award to assist the school in providing future scholarships and financial literacy programs.
