The Carroll Fire Department responded to the report of a structure fire at approximately 12:06 a.m. today (Monday) at the Dennis Danner property located at 17473 Mahogany Ave. north of Carroll. Upon their arrival, the department found a 30 x 80 foot wood-frame, steel-sided building was fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters remained on the scene for approximately two and half hours to extinguish the blaze, and returned at approximately 6:15 a.m. to address a small fire flare-up that occurred in the remains. The building stored several antique tractors as well as tools and other shop equipment. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined and remains under investigation. No estimate of damages is yet available. Carroll County Emergency Medical Services, The Carroll Police Department and the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
