The Greene County Sheriff’s Office, Churdan Fire Department and Greene County Emergency Medical Services reported to a structure fire in the 700 block of 130th Street northwest of Churdan at approximately 5:10 p.m. Monday afternoon. The deputy reported there was only minor damage to a sheep/lambing barn at that site. Electrical problems are believed to be the cause of the fire.
