Early Registration For ISU Swine Day Closes Friday

This year’s fifth annual Iowa Swine Day will be held on Thursday, June 30, at Iowa State University. The 9 a.m. to 4:35 p.m. event features experts on pork industry topics, including antibiotic use, water quality, risk management, sustainability, gene editing and trends in facility management. All sessions will take place in the Scheman Building on the Iowa State campus with participants from a variety of industry sectors, including owner-operators, sow and grow-out supervisors, managers of production companies, researchers, students and representatives from the feed, genetics, equipment and pharmaceutical sectors. On-line registration is open and until Friday, June 17, will be $60 dollars. That registration includes lunch and refreshments. After June 17, the cost will increase to $80. Registration will also be open the day of the event beginning at 7:30 a.m. Students can register for free until June 17.
