DMACC Students And Grads Compete For $10,000

Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) students and alumni have the opportunity to win $10,000 in the third annual Entrepreneurship Competition. Administered by the DMACC Foundation, this competition has been sponsored by an anonymous donor and is open to current students and alumni who are operating a business in Iowa. “There are so many DMACC students and alumni doing great things all over the state,” said Foundation Director, Tara Connolly. “This competition helps recognize and reward those innovative entrepreneurs.” The 2015 winner of the competition was DMACC Agribusiness program graduate, Titan Immel of Upper Edge Ag, LLC in Adair, a field crop mapping service that uses drones to take high resolution images that measure crop health.
