The automotive training program at Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) got a boost this week with a donation of 42 engines and eight Superchargers from General Motors. The engines and Superchargers are for use in the GM Automotive Service Education Program (ASEP). This hands-on experience in preparing the next generation of automotive technicians helps fill a critical need in the industry, according to DMACC GM ASEP Chair, Jerry Burns.
