Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC), has announced they will be entering into a partnership with Vermeer Corporation for the first-of-its kind certified training program in horizontal directional drill (HDD) operations. The Vermeer HDD CircuitSM training program will prepare individuals to join the HDD industry and to meet the growing demands in infrastructure projects nationwide. A special feature of the training program allows Veterans to use their GI Bill Benefits to cover tuition and lodging. A partnership signing ceremony will be held at 2:30 p.m. this afternoon (Monday), at Vermeer’s home base in Pella.
