Deer Accident Causes $10,000 in Vehicle Damages

A Grand Junction man was uninjured, but his vehicle sustained an estimated $10,000 in damage after hitting a deer yesterday (Tuesday) morning. At approximately 6:44 a.m., 41-year-old Travis Christopher Fincel was north bound in the 1700 block of Quaker Ave. southeast of Jefferson in a 2006 Chevrolet Suburban when he struck the deer that ran into the roadway. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
