Curtis Says Clinton Has Strength, Compassion And Expertise To Be Next President

We are now only days away from the Iowa Caucus on Monday, Feb. 1, and candidates are crisscrossing the state in their last minute campaign stops to drum up support for this first-in-the-country event. Many have sent surrogates to talk to constituents about their positions on the issues America is facing, and Jamie Lee Curtis said in a recent stop in Carroll that she was thrilled to have the chance to do this for Hillary Clinton. She was so moved by Clinton in a recent debate, that she volunteered her time to take her message to the rest of the nation.

Curtis said she connected what she saw with a quote she lives by, and this is why she had such a strong reaction. The quote is from a novel, “Special Topics in Calamity Physics,” by Marisha Pessl.

That, she said, is why she made the trip to Iowa. She saw exactly who it was she wanted to see as our next President.

Hillary Clinton will be in Carroll on Saturday, Jan. 30 for a Get Out the Caucus event at the Carrollton at 3 p.m. RSVPs are recommended, and can be found with this story on our website.
