The community of Fort Dodge has a vision to turn a 110 foot concrete grain silo into a work of art. The silo, that sits adjacent to the Des Moines River and Hawkeye Bridge, will be transformed as a part of the Northwest River District Revitalization Plan. The community is seeking proposals from artists and statements of qualifications from painting contractors for applicants interested in producing a large-scale mural to adorn the silo.
