After receiving several calls of a white Jeep that was driving erratically and dangerously in the southern portion of Greene County, Three members of the Greene County Sheriff’s office responded to Highway 144 north of Rippey at approximately 7:26 p.m. last (Wednesday) night. The deputies stopped the Jeep on Highway 144 a mile south of Grand Junction and conducted a field sobriety test on 18-year-old Justin Ray Lopez of Jefferson. Lopez was charged with Driving while Under the Influence—first offense and Speeding.
