Following on the heels of the presidential debates Sunday night, the Carroll Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a candidate forum this coming Wednesday, Oct. 12. Chamber Executive Director, Shannon Landauer, says they do not expect anything along the lines of the nationally televised events on Wednesday.
Nearly all candidates running for county and state positions, those in contested races and those running unopposed, will be present to answer questions from constituents at the forum.
Landauer says she encourages everyone to attend the 7 p.m. event at the Carroll High School auditorium, but accommodations have also been made for those who are unable to attend.
The forum will be broadcast live on 1380 KCIM and there will be a video livestream on the website at 1380KCIM.com. Landauer also wants to remind everyone that the purpose of the forum is to get their questions answered, and encourages people to submit questions to the chamber offices prior to the event, or to call or text 712-790-3584 during the forum.
