Chamber Extends Thank You To Summer Interns

One of the unsung benefits that the community of Carroll has received over the course of the summer is the assistance that comes in with college students who perform internships. Two college students worked with the Carroll Chamber of Commerce and Executive Director, Shannon Landauer, said she wanted to extend a sincere thank you to both of them for the hard work they put in on behalf of Carroll and Carroll County.

Hanner, from Guthrie Center, was also instrumental in the organization of the second annual CarrollCon event during Carrollfest. She has returned to Northwest Missouri State to continue here public relations studies. The other intern had a much more intimate involvement with the Carroll Merchants, doing double duty both on and off the field.

Elder, of Chanhassen, Minn., is entering his junior year at Saint Leo University in Saint Leo, Fla., and is majoring in Sport Business. He says his goal is to play baseball as long as possible and work into coaching at the collegiate level.
