Carroll Community School District (CCSD) has released the open-enrollment registration application due dates for the 2017-18 school year. Families from outside the region who wish for their children to attend CCSD must submit the proper forms by March 1, 2017 to both the resident and receiving districts. If the child will be entering school for the first time as a kindergarten student, the deadline is later in the year on Sept. 1, 2017. Students in grades nine through 12 that open enroll are not eligible to participate in varsity contests and competitions for the first 90 school days after the transfer. Transportation to and from school and school activates for open-enrolled students falls under the responsibility of the parents unless the child has special circumstances under their Individualized Education Program (IEP).
