Dennis Berg of Arcadia has been a lifelong baseball fan and can lay claim to being the area’s first season ticket holder for the new Carroll Merchants baseball team which is making historic Merchants Field their home this summer. Berg was a big fan of watching the old Merchants team years ago and didn’t want to miss out this time around either.
Berg says that Baseball has been a big part of his family for many generations.
The Carroll Chamber of Commerce is also in the process of arranging housing for the players this summer. Carroll Broadcasting plans on broadcasting some of the home games this year as well.
