Carroll Library Ready For Fun-Filled And Educational Summer

Schools are almost all out for summer break and the Carroll Public Library is ready to provide hours of fun-filled educational activities through a wide variety of programs for the month of June. On Monday afternoons at 1 p.m. everyone is invited to the second level of City Hall for a movie as well as popcorn and water. Children must be accompanied by an adult. On Tuesdays, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the Adams Elementary gym, the entire family is invited to a variety of different presentations, including magicians, musicians and jugglers. John Liepa will be hosting two presentations this month, “The Players” on June 16 and “Read ‘Em and Eat” on June 30. In addition to these activities, the library will be holding several special children’s and adult programs. A full listing of the dates and times of June events can be found by clicking on the link below. Summer hours at the library are in now in effect. They are open on Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Registration is open for the summer reading program from now until July 15th. Simply stop by the library to sign up for “On Your Mark, Get Set, READ!” This theme is all about sports and exercise and is available to all ages.
