Carroll County H.O.P.E.S Program Receives Honored Distinction

The Carroll County H.O.P.E.S program, which stands for Healthy Opportunities for Parents to Experience Success, has renewed the Iowa Family Support Credential. The Iowa Department of Management and Public Health is pleased to announce that H.O.P.E.S is the sixth renewed Iowa program to earn this honored distinction. The credentialing is in support of the services offered through the home-visitation program that assists pregnant women, parents of newborns and other families with children up to five years old with primary prevention services and addressing a variety of family issues. They routinely provide aid with health and development, school readiness, socialization, parent-child interaction and parenting and family skill development. The five-year credentialing required H.O.P.E.S to meet 138 standards over the course of more than two years.
