Burglary tools were found in a traffic stop involving a pair of Jefferson residents on Thursday morning. At approximately 9:02 a.m., the Greene County Sheriff’s Office stopped a suspicious vehicle in the 1600 block of 150th Street east of Churdan. After an initial investigation, 35-year-old Tyson James Ruth and 35-year-old Joey Ann Godwin were arrested and charged with criminal mischief in the fourth degree, a serious misdemeanor, and possession of burglary tools, an aggravated misdemeanor.
