With ground breaking ceremonies for the new Trophies Plus building this last Friday, the city of Breda means business, big business. It took about a year and a half to get to the point of a ground breaking, but for Mayor Mike Schwabe it’s a big moment for this little town. Schwabe says the new Trophies Plus building will drastically change the look of Breda.
Adding a business like Trophies Plus with a nationwide sales reach is nothing new to Breda, who can lay claim to several other businesses who sells nationally, such as Toyne Fire Apparatus, Snappy Popcorn, Move It and also regional telecommunications company Western Iowa Networks. It would be very tough for any town of less than 500 people to have that kind of economic power in their community. Schwabe says that makes Breda unique.
You could definitely say Breda means business, big business and as the town’s motto says…Believe It!
