As the Iowa Legislature concludes its 10th week of the 86th General Assembly, they continue to move through bills that survived two funnels. Many Iowans, however, still have questions over issues that remain unresolved, such as state aid for schools, cannabis oil and the Medicaid changeover to Managed Care Organizations taking place April 1. Senator Mark Segebart and Representative Brian Best will be in Breda Saturday, March 19, to discuss these topics and many more at the Carroll Chamber of Commerce Legislative Forum. The forum will get underway at 10 a.m. at the Breda Shelter House and the public is encouraged to attend. Representatives will make opening comments and there is ample time for questions from the audience in the one-hour session.
