Audubon Resident Turns Himself In On Outstanding Warrant

Twenty-three-year-old Daylan Gene Kleen of Audubon turned himself into the Audubon County Sheriff’s Office this morning (Monday) on an outstanding warrant. Kleen has been charged with: possession of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a public park; possession of marijuana, first offense; two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia; four counts of possession of prescription drugs; removing labeling of a drug; and altering a drug. The charges stem from an investigation that followed a traffic stop on Wednesday, Sept. 14, near Highway 44 and Bluebird Ave. north of Kimballton. A search warrant was executed to search his home at 209 W. Broadway in Audubon on Sept. 15. The Audubon County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by their K-9 Axel and the Audubon Police Department.
