Middle school students in seventh and eighth grade are invited to attend the Carroll Area Youth Entrepreneurship Camp that will take place in the Harold Bierl Community Building at the Carroll Chamber of Commerce on July 25 through July 28. Sponsored by the Carroll Area Development Corporation, Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) and the North Central Iowa Small Business Development Center, the camp will educate students on the components of running a successful small business. The 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. sessions will include tours of local businesses and speakers. The Carroll Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications through Wednesday, June 15. An enrollment form, medical and media releases and permission forms can be picked up and returned to the Carroll Chamber of Commerce offices at 407 W. 5th Street.
