The Employers’ Council of Iowa in western Iowa and IowaWORKS are hosting a workshop in Carroll to help employers build a skilled workforce and close the skill gap for available positions. The seminar focuses on using a time-tested method, apprenticeships, to prepare employees for a variety of skills. How to use apprenticeships for all job types, why apprenticeships are not just for skilled trades and steps to set up a program will all be covered.
