Snowy roadways early yesterday (Monday) morning resulted in a single-vehicle rollover accident on Highway 4 south of Jefferson near 257th Street. At approximately 7:23 a.m., 24-year-old Lucas Jeffery Ruppel of Perry was traveling southbound on Highway 4 when he lost control of his 2001 Ford Explorer and rolled into the west ditch. Ruppel was not injured, but his vehicle was determined to be a total loss. Ruppel was cited for Failure to Maintain Control and Failure to Provide Proof of Liability.
