Search for vehicle in Ida Co. pursuit leads to arrest of uninvolved man in Sac County

A search for a vehicle involved in a pursuit with Ida County authorities lead to the arrest of a Wall Lake man on Sunday, October 18. Deputies from the Sac County Sheriff’s Office first encountered a vehicle matching the color and make of the one identified in the Ida County pursuit around 11:00 pm while searching the area for the described vehicle in the 3200 mile of Esther Avenue north of Odebolt.

However, before the deputies could attempt a traffic stop, the suspect car pulled in to a field drive. There the deputies encountered 22 year-old Bryson Martin Kramer who was behind the wheel. He initially gave authorities false information about his identity and during an investigation it was determined that Kramer’s driving privileges had been suspended. Following his arrest a substance believed to be methamphetamine was also seized. Kramer has been charged with Operating While Intoxicated 2nd Offense, Possession of Methamphetamine, Interference with Official Acts, and Driving While Suspended. Kramer was brought before a magistrate Monday morning and was released. It was later determined that Kramer was not involved in the Ida County Pursuit.
