Giving has never been so much fun, and so easy as New Opportunities and the Carroll Rec Center partner together in the Giving Tree Jingle Bell Run. For the donation of a new, unwrapped toy for each participant, you and your family can take part in a one mile, family-friendly road course on Saturday, Dec. 12. Registration for the race begins at 10:00 a.m. in the Rec Center activities room and the race begins at 10:30 a.m. at the north side of the Rec Center. For those who wish to stay inside, an alternate track race can be done that same day. Registration will take place up until race start time on the 12th, but those participants registering before Dec. 7 will receive a race day t-shirt. All racers are invited to stay for refreshments after the event. It’s easy to register, simply drop of an unwrapped toy and fill out a registration form at the Rec Center by Dec. 7.
