No Injuries Reported In Two-Vehicle Accident Near Jefferson

No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident that occurred at approximately 11:46 a.m. Saturday morning at the intersection of Highway 30 and Pioneer Ave. east of Jefferson. The Greene County Sheriff’s office responded to find a 2002 Ford Taurus, driven by 18-year-old Emily Marie Most of Jefferson was eastbound on Highway 30 and attempting to turn north onto Pioneer Ave. when a 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier, driven by 20-year-old Mikayla Jo Hockenberry of Guthrie Center failed to stop and rear-ended the Most vehicle. Damage to the Most vehicle was estimated at $800, while damage to Hockenberry’s car was estimated to be $7,500. Airbags in both vehicles deployed in the collision. Hockenberry was cited for Failure to Maintain Control.
