ISA Research Conference Feb. 16 And 17

The Iowa Soybean Association is hosting their annual Research Conference Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 16 and 17, at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines. This year, the conference will focus on expanding dialogues among ag and urban stakeholders about Iowa agriculture and the environment as well as providing relevant insights on production issues to improve farmer competitiveness. In addition to the new location, a half-day program has been added for Feb. 16 emphasizing the ongoing collaboration between Iowa’s urban and rural stakeholders to improve water quality. Presenters form the US Water Alliance, the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, the City of Cedar Rapids, the Iowa League of Cities and the Greater Des Moines Partnership will highlight examples of urban and rural cooperative implementation projects and share innovative solutions working for a stronger Iowa future. The conferences second day will feature nearly 35 breakout sessions on a variety of different topics. Registration is now open. Registrations received prior to or on Feb. 4 will cost $150 for the full two-day conference. Registrations after that date will be at $175.
