Huckabee Stopping In Carroll Friday

Hot on the heels of the last GOP Presidential debate on Wednesday evening, former Arkansas Governor and Presidential hopeful, Mike Huckabee, will be making a stop in Carroll Friday, Oct. 30, during a campaign swing through the lead-off caucus state. He will visit with area constituents beginning at 5:00 p.m. at Sam’s Sodas and Sandwiches in downtown Carroll. Huckabee won the 2008 Iowa Republican Caucus, but came in third to John McCain and Mitt Romney for the party nomination. He is an ordained Southern Baptist minister and was host of the Fox News Channel talk show, “Huckabee” from 2008 until January of this year. Huckabee has been vocal about trade deals that negatively impact US wages and heavily criticizes President Barack Obama’s international dealings, particularly with Israel and Iran.
