With the help of volunteers, local business, and some festive cheer residents at Swan House will be able to enjoy decorated Christmas trees placed throughout the senior living facility over the holiday season. Organizers are currently looking for people and organizations to decorate a tree to highlight their services or just for fun. Any size of tree can be decorated, but space is limited. Prizes will be awarded during The Festival of Trees at Swan Place which will be open to the public throughout the Christmas season, or during a special open house which will take place on Thursday, December 10 from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm. Parties interested in decorating a tree should contact Cindy Krauel at 712-790-1900. Trees will be provided upon request and can be decorated at a party’s convenience following the Thanksgiving holiday.
