The Community Foundation of Carroll County’s mission is to improve the quality of life in Carroll County and the surrounding area. They do this through programs, resources and the support of organizations that enhance and advance the civic, social, cultural, recreational and artistic life of the residents of Carroll County. Through the Iowa Legislative program, Endow Iowa, the Community Foundation of Carroll County will be distributing a portion of Iowa’s gambling revenue to worthy causes. They are now accepting grant applications for qualifying charitable purposes in the county. Applications must be 501(c)(3) organizations, government units or churches and the applications must be received by Sept. 30.
