The Carroll County Farm Bureau will be holding a Wellness Profile Blood Draw at the County Office on Tuesday, February 25th from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
St Anthony Hospital Lab personnel will be on hand to draw blood with a computer printout of the results to be sent directly to the individual. Those folks with abnormal readings will be encouraged to discuss their results with their family physician.
An 8-hour fasting is recommended (nothing by mouth except water/coffee and medications may be taken). The cost of the Profile is $35.00 and must be paid that day. The PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen) is no longer available during the Wellness Blood Draw.
