THIS WORKSHOP WILL
– Review the different parts of a resume and their individual purposes
– Teach participants about resume rules and best practices to land an interview
– Explain different types of resumes and their best uses
– Dive into cover letter development and LinkedIn Optimization
REQUIREMENTS
Participants must bring a laptop with access to a word processing program such as Microsoft Word, Apple Pages, or Google Docs.
Julia Evans (a Carroll High graduate) has been a top-rated freelance resume writer for the past 5 years. She earned her bachelor’s degree in history from Wartburg College and master’s degree in Museum Studies from Western Illinois University. Julia has extensive experience in writing resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles for a variety of industries including management, IT, academics, retail, and government.
