The Sac County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to hold its jail open house presentations ahead of the upcoming $10.8 million November bond referendum for a new facility. The next jail tour is scheduled for Wednesday, Sep. 9 at 7 p.m. at the Sac County Jail. During the tour, visitors will see the facility’s current condition and a presentation explaining the Sac County Sheriff’s Office’s need for a new facility. The open house begins at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sep. 9, at 100 NW State St. in Sac City. Enter through the law enforcement center glass door on the north side of the courthouse.
