The United Way of Carroll County has lunch plans covered on Thursday, as they host their annual grill-out to raise money for local groups. The drive-thru meal will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and United Way Board Member Tom Haukap says First United Methodist Church was kind enough to host the fundraiser this year.
Haukap says they try to keep the menu simple, but that definitely isn’t a bad thing.
Haukap adds the United Way is also offering delivery options for orders of six meals or more, but those need to be scheduled by 5 p.m. on Tuesday. Fill out the form included with this story on our website, reach out to the United Way of Carroll County on Facebook, or contact any of the board members to submit those orders. While the United Way is a national entity, Haukap says individual chapters support local initiatives.
