The Carroll County Iowa State University (ISU) Extension and Outreach Office has released results from last week’s shows and contests at the Carroll County Fair. Judging covered dozens of categories, including beef, sheep, swine, dairy, horses, rabbits, poultry, goats, dogs, cats, communications, clothing, food, horticulture, and many other project areas. Fair organizers have condensed the more than 1,100 entries into an easy-to-search results page at www.fairentry.com, and a link to those results is included with this story on our website. The awards reflect countless hours of hard work and dedication by the county’s youth, and those efforts are recognized in these results. Many of the county’s top-finishing exhibits will now represent Carroll County during competition at the Iowa State Fair in August.
