On Tuesday, July 7, customers of Western Iowa Power Cooperative (WIPCO) experienced a power outage in the Denison, Manning, and Halbur areas. The outage came as a result of a transmission line feeding the Denison substation going down. Northwest Iowa Power Cooperative (NIPCO) and WIPCO crews quickly fixed the line, and power was restored to the area. WIPCO apologizes for the inconvenience and thanks customers for their patience.
