The Greene County Iowa Fair kicks off this year on Tuesday, July 7, and will run until the 13th. Fair-goers can expect a packed lineup for the whole week, beginning with weigh-ins, check-ins, and judging on Tuesday and Wednesday during the day. Greene County Fair Vice President Katlynn Mechelsen says the fair’s royalty tradition continues on Wednesday night.
Mechelsen says the festivities continue on Thursday with some special guests and live music.
Friday fair-goers can expect barbecue, bulls, broncos, and bows and arrows.
For the full schedule as well as daily updates, Mechelsen recommends following the Green County Fair Facebook page.
Again, the fair kicks off on Tuesday, July 7, and will run until the 13th at the Greene County Fairgrounds at 601 E. Lincoln Way in Jefferson.
