The Carroll Chamber of Commerce kicks off its 2026 Live + Local summer concert series tomorrow (Thursday) night, and organizers are inviting the community to help them get the season started off right. Grab your lawn chairs, blankets, and coolers, and head to Depot Park near Commercial Savings Bank for free, live music from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The band, Cover That out of Des Moines, which specializes in renditions of the most popular songs from the ‘80s, ‘90s, ‘00s, ‘10s, and today. Attendees are invited to bring their own beverages to Live + Local, but Chamber staff emphasizes that the concert is cans-only. Glass containers and hard liquor are prohibited. Thursday’s Live + Local is sponsored by Fusion Dance and Greteman & Associates. Four other concerts are scheduled this summer: June 25, July 16, Aug. 13, and Sept. 17.
