The Greene County Community School District Elementary building staff are excited to offer a new way to reward positive behavior displayed by students while promoting a love for reading. The district recently purchased and installed a Inchy’s Bookworm Vending Machine, where Greene County Elementary students will earn a special token that is used to purchase a book of their choice from the selection inside the machine. The students then are allowed to keep the book, to bring that excitement of reading home to their families. The purchase was made possible through generous donations between the Kiwanis Club and the Greene County Community Foundation.
