The Dolly Parton Imagination Library program is now available for Sac County children, thanks to the First Christian Church of Sac City. Children five and under can now sign up to receive a free book each month through the mail, due to the First Christian Church’s designation as the local nonprofit sponsor. In a post to social media, representatives of the church say, “We’re proud to be the official local nonprofit partner making this possible. We believe in supporting families, encouraging young learners, and building bright futures- one book at a time.” Anyone wishing to sign their children up can do so online using the link included below, or by visiting any Sac County public library. Within the first day of opening registration, over 100 children from Sac County have already registered, but more are encouraged to join.
