With summer right around the corner, Carroll County Conservation is ready to kick off the third annual Pella Concert Series with three weekends full of activities and live music. The event was started to bring something new to Swan Lake State Park and to utilize the historical amphitheater located in the park’s campground. Carroll County Conservation Environmental Education Coordinator, Kristen Bieret, says instead of just one evening of music, more activities are being planned around the concerts to make it a weekend event.
Bieret says the concerts start in June and is excited about this year’s lineup.
While the concerts are free thanks to Pella’s sponsorship, Bieret says there is the opportunity for individuals to buy food which will help support Carroll County Conservation this year.
Again, everyone is welcome to join Carroll County Conservation for the third annual Pella Summer Concert Series starting on June 21 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Additional details can be found on the Carroll County Conservation Facebook page, the link is included below.
